Kodiak, which is a local company, asked to trade disposal services for one of our broken-down bulk pickup trucks. The owner stated he would allow us to dump 75 loads of tree debris in exchange for this truck. Apparently, we have made such an exchange in the past with this company. I am not opposed to such a deal provided it is legal and a dollar-for-dollar trade. Public Works is going to contact the owner this week to get the details, but I would like to get your perspective on this trade. Any insight or experience with similar would be helpful.
