Committees

Membership
The Membership Committee's primary responsibilities are to organize an effective recruiting program; to prepare materials for distribution to potential members or to help familiarize them with the Chapter; and to work with the President on membership issues
Education Committee
The Education Committee's primary responsibilities are to plan, establish, and coordinate educational programs, subject to approval by the Board, which further the knowledge, expertise, and professionalism of the membership, such as organizing workshops and NIGP Seminars; and towards certification (CPPB and CPPO), recertification, state certifications and professional development of the chapter members.
Scholarship
The Scholarship committee is responsible for upkeep of the scholarship program, process and awards.
Public Relations & Marketing
The Public Relations and Marketing Committee's primary responsibilities are to inform the membership of Chapter cultural and educational activities as well as social events.
Bylaws
The By-Law Committee’s primary responsibilities are to review and to propose amendments to the Chapter’s adopted By-Laws.
Awards & Nominating
This committee will be involved with Chapter Awards, as well as, obtaining members to serve on the Board of the Association.
Legislative
The Legislative Committee's responsibility is to inform membership of current legislative activities and matters. The committee will keep members updated with new requirements as it relates to procurement.
Fundraising
Fundraising functions to support Educational purposes and Chapter Activities.
The Board of Directors are elected by membership, and are responsible for upholding the bylaws & making informed decisions for the benefit of the chapter.
The National NIGP Ambassador is a liaison between chapters & the national level, presenting on opportunities to help grow the chapter, keeping members informed of national ongoings, and knowledgeable on available resources.
